YOUR WEDDING, HOSTED WITH CARE

From the First Plans to the Morning After

A wedding at Ladyburn is personal. We get to know what matters to you, how you want the celebration to feel and the little details that will make it yours. SHAPE IT TOGETHER

Before you arrive, we work through the details that belong to Ladyburn: how you want to use the house, grounds and Garden Pavilion, supplier access, timings, dining and the flow of your celebration.

  2. 02

    WELCOME EVERYONE IN

When your people arrive, the house is ready for them. Bedrooms prepared, spaces set, fires lit when needed and the little details in place so you can settle in and enjoy having everyone together.

  3. 03

    LET US NOTICE THE DETAILS

On the wedding day, we are here in the background, helping suppliers find their feet, preparing Ladyburn’s spaces, keeping an eye on timings and noticing the small things before they become something you need to think about.

  4. 04

    THE MORNING AFTER

There is still time together when the wedding day is over. Breakfast, coffee, stories from the night before and a slower goodbye, while we take care of the practical details around the house.

Almost all of what you need is already taken care of here at Ladyburn. From the house and Garden Pavilion set-up to the catering, dining and the practical details around your stay. We look after the parts that happen here and work closely with any additional suppliers you choose to bring in, so your celebration feels relaxed, personal and beautifully cared for.

The most perfect place for our wedding weekend. Where to begin… from the moment we first got in touch with Nenah and James to enquire about hosting our wedding weekend at Ladyburn, to saying our goodbyes as we departed on our last morning, our experience at Ladyburn was 5 stars. We found Ladyburn rather organically about 2 years ago while researching venues for our very intimate wedding. We reached out to Nenah and were warmly invited to visit the venue. It is without a doubt that Ladyburn House is beautiful, but what brings it warmth is the heart and passion of the people who are at its core. This is how we knew Ladyburn was for us. As our big weekend grew closer, Nenah couldn’t have been more helpful, going above and beyond to help plan and coordinate our special and somewhat unique wedding weekend. Nothing was too much hassle, and Nenah was clear and thorough with her correspondence and operational plans for the weekend. We knew the whole weekend was in safe hands. To diminish the weekend itself into a few sentences would be to do it a disservice. I cannot explain how perfect it was. What I can say is that Nenah, James, Callum, Alan, Hannah, and Helen were exceptional, and became part of our family by the end of the weekend. Ladyburn is a beautiful place, but at its heart are the people who have brought it to life. If you are thinking of hosting a special weekend at Ladyburn, don’t think twice. My biggest regret is that we didn’t book it for longer. So we are already thinking about when we can visit again. While Ladyburn House offers a comfortable bed, beautiful decor, and stunning surroundings, it’s true magic lies in the people at its beating heart. A stay here feels like being welcomed into a loving home.

Absolutely stunning place. We decided to get married in Ladyburn Gardens, and the hosts, Nenah and James, were nothing but helpful and supportive. Everyone was very impressed with the place, and to be honest, everything is so beautifully decorated that it required hardly anything on top of it. You can tell how much heart and detail they put into renovating and decorating this place, and I could not recommend it to everyone enough. We would love to come back if we get a chance. Thank you for everything.

Ladyburn House will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We celebrated our wedding here, and it was the most beautiful setting for a day we will treasure forever. The house, gardens and marquee are stunning, but it’s Nenah and James who make it truly special. They are such warm, welcoming and lovely people, and we are so grateful for the care they put into our celebration. There’s a real heart to Ladyburn that goes beyond how beautiful it looks, and so much of that comes from them.

We came away with the happiest memories and couldn’t have wished for a lovelier place to celebrate with our family and friends. If you’re considering Ladyburn for your wedding, we wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you, Nenah and James, for being part of such a special chapter in our lives.

Our Love Story, Your Beginning

Nenah & James | Married at Ladyburn House, 14 June 2025

Ladyburn House was always more than a wedding venue to us. It was the place where we knew we wanted to begin our married life together.

Read Our Love Story

We dreamed of a wedding that felt relaxed, intimate and deeply personal, surrounded by nature and the people we love most. And that's exactly what we experienced.

One of our most treasured memories was the last-minute decision to move our ceremony outdoors, when the skies cleared just moments before I was due to walk down the aisle. Walking towards James beneath our magnificent oak tree, with Ralphie by my side and our loved ones gathered around us, was a moment I'll never forget.

From our family dinner the evening before to the beautiful food, heartfelt speeches, laughter and dancing beneath the Garden Pavilion, the entire weekend was everything we had hoped for.

Having experienced our own wedding here, we understand just how special it is to have the time and space to celebrate without rushing, to be fully present with the people who matter most, and to create memories that stay with you long after the celebrations end.

We poured our hearts into creating Ladyburn, but getting married here gave it an entirely new meaning.

Ladyburn will forever be the heart of our love story, and there's nothing more wonderful than seeing it become part of someone else's.

Our whole weekend felt effortless. Having the house, the gardens and the Pavilion entirely to ourselves made it feel like home.

Marriage notice

Planning your wedding from abroad? Both of you must give notice of marriage to the registrar for the district where the ceremony will take place. Notice must be received at least 29 days before the wedding. Start much earlier, particularly if either of you is not a UK national or resident.

Documents

Documents commonly requested include passports, birth certificates, evidence of residence and confirmation that any previous marriage has ended. Non-UK nationals may need a certificate of no impediment or equivalent in some cases. The legal ceremony must be conducted by a registrar or an authorised celebrant.

Travel and visas

US passport holders should also check the current UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) requirements. An ETA does not permit marrying or giving notice of marriage in the UK. Check the immigration permission you need before travelling, including the official Marriage Visitor visa guidance. Requirements can change. Ladyburn cannot give legal or immigration advice; confirm with the official sources and the registrar.
