Ladyburn House is ideal for intimate private celebrations including milestone birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, special weekends with friends, reunions and other meaningful occasions. The estate is exclusively yours, with nine en-suite bedrooms, generous communal spaces, private grounds and optional dining, wellness and curated experiences. We take time to understand the style of celebration you are planning so we can make sure Ladyburn is the right fit.

Private celebrations are normally based on a minimum two-night stay. Longer stays are very welcome, particularly for milestone events, family gatherings and celebrations where guests are travelling from further afield. Your proposal will be tailored around your dates, group size and plans.

Yes. For private celebrations, your group has exclusive use of the main house, gardens and guest facilities. There are no other resident guests sharing the property. Nenah and James have their own separate private accommodation on the estate and may be on site during your stay, close by if you need us. The main house, the gardens and the wellness spaces remain entirely yours.

Ladyburn House sleeps up to 18 guests across nine en-suite bedrooms. Five bedrooms can be configured as either super-king or twin rooms, which makes the house flexible for families, couples and groups of friends staying together. Up to two fold-out beds can be arranged where appropriate. Within the standard 18-guest occupancy, a fold-out bed costs £50 per bed, per stay. For an additional guest beyond the standard 18, a fold-out bed costs £100 per bed, per stay.

Yes, additional daytime guests can be considered depending on the style of celebration, spaces being used, catering arrangements and overall guest numbers. Please tell us your expected daytime and overnight numbers when enquiring so we can recommend the most suitable setup.

Yes. Ladyburn has its own trusted private chefs who work regularly at the house and can create everything from intimate dinners and family lunches to brunches, celebration meals and special occasions. Menus are tailored around your group, the style of your event and any dietary requirements, and we coordinate the catering with you as part of your stay. Other food experiences can also be arranged, including afternoon tea, wood-fired pizza evenings, BBQ-style dining and other curated food options. Explore Gather & Feast.

Yes. Ladyburn’s seasonal Garden Pavilion can be added to eligible celebrations subject to season, installation dates, availability and weather conditions. It works beautifully for private dining, drinks, workshops, celebrations and relaxed gatherings in the grounds. The Pavilion is not automatically included with every house booking and is quoted separately where applicable.

Yes. Ladyburn’s outdoor pizza oven can be booked for a relaxed wood-fired pizza evening during your stay. The pizza oven is chef-operated and must be arranged in advance. It is especially popular for celebration weekends because it gives guests a more informal evening between larger meals or events.

Yes. The ceremonial fire circle is available to residential groups and can be a lovely way to end an evening together. It works particularly well for relaxed gatherings, reflection, storytelling or simply spending time together outdoors. Use is always weather and safety dependent.

Yes, external suppliers can be considered with prior approval. Ladyburn also has a trusted network of chefs, therapists, musicians, facilitators and other suppliers who already know the property. Any external professional supplier must provide appropriate Public Liability Insurance and, where relevant, PAT certification or professional qualifications before attending the estate.

Suitable celebration weekends can be considered by prior enquiry. Ladyburn is best suited to groups looking for a stylish, relaxed and respectful celebration rather than a high-volume party-house experience. We review each enquiry individually to make sure the plans are appropriate for the property, grounds and surrounding area.

Yes. Family celebrations and multi-generational stays are welcome. Travel cots and highchairs can be arranged, although cot bedding is not supplied. Because Ladyburn is a country estate with a burn, pond, woodland and uneven terrain, children must be appropriately supervised.

We can welcome one dog by prior arrangement only, at £100 per stay. Please tell us when you enquire.

Ladyburn is a private country estate with neighbouring farms, homes, livestock and wildlife, so we ask guests to be considerate of the surrounding area. For general private celebrations, outdoor noise and music should be kept to a respectful level from 10pm. Where a larger agreed event is taking place, specific timings will be included within the booking arrangements.

No. Fireworks and similar loud outdoor activities are not permitted because of neighbouring farms, livestock, wildlife and noise considerations.

Yes. There is ample complimentary private parking within the estate for residential guests. If your celebration includes additional daytime guests, suppliers, or larger vehicles, please tell us in advance so parking can be planned appropriately.

Ladyburn is primarily an exclusive-use residential venue, so private celebrations are normally built around an overnight stay. This allows your group to enjoy the house, grounds and experience fully rather than treating Ladyburn as a short event-only venue. Please enquire if you have something specific in mind.
